Bowling Pin Shoot We do it every other 3rd Thursday of the month, starting at 7:00 pm.   What is Bowling Pin Shooting you ask?    

Well, its enormous amount of fun.  We set up 5 bowling pins on a table about 20 feet away and you have to not only knock them down, but shoot them off the table.

         Hogan’s Alley — Has started every 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 7:00,  Gilbert Indoor Range is introducing another action-packed event for your shooting pleasure.  In addition to our popular Cowboy Action and Bowling Pin shoots, a Hogan’s Alley-style shooting setup featuring “Pepper Poppers” and other reactive targets will be available on a scheduled event basis.  This is a great way to test and improve your shooting skills.  Details of the scenario(s) and the schedule are being worked out as we go to press.  Stop in or call to ask us about this new and exciting action-shooting opportunity.

Glock^® Pistol: 201

       In this mini-course we will discuss the history of the Glock pistol, the basic and detailed parts and operation, the three internal Glock safeties, maintenance issues, and function check procedures.  In the workshop session, students will fieldstrip their pistol and magazine and optionally detail strip their pistol’s frame and slide.  After students reassemble their Glocks they will perform three simple and  comprehensive function checks of their pistol.  Also, several useful handouts are included with this course.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own Glock pistol for show and tell and for field/detailed stripping, inspection, and function checking.  Cleaning gear is suggested but optional.  Considering a pistol purchase?  You do not need to own a firearm to attend this seminar.

The M1911/1911A1 .45 semi-automatic pistol served as the U.S. military’s sidearm for 74 years and is still one of the most popular, fun, and potentially accurate handguns ever designed.

 

        In this mini-course we will discuss the history, basic and detailed parts and operation, safety features, maintenance issues, and function checking procedures of the Government Model style .45 pistol, variants and clones.  In the workshop, students will optionally field strip their pistol and magazine and detail strip their pistol’s frame and slide.  After all of the students reassemble their guns we will perform a compre-hensive 8-part function check of the pistol.  Numerous useful handouts are included with this course.  Hats off to the amazing John M. Browning!  Participants are encouraged to bring their own 1911-style .45 pistol for show and tell and for field/detailed stripping, inspection, and function checking.  Bringing your cleaning gear is highly recommended.
